Whole Community Connection (WCC) supports leaders to advance health equity in rural North Carolina by increasing local power to focus on priorities by and at the community level and co-creating a model of relationship centered engagement.

Let’s collaborate!

Teams of collaborators from existing partnerships including 2 community members from Edgecombe or Robeson County and 2 UNC-CH faculty or researchers are eligible to apply. Selected teams participate in one year of leadership strengthening focused on building relationships for collective and community-led action and receive $45,000 in funding to improve community health.

Join us for Carolina Engagement Week! February 29, 2023 from 12:00 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Zoom Whole Community Connection was established in 2022 to support a healthy, thriving North Carolina through community-academic partnerships. This webinar describes Whole Community Connection, a team-based leadership building model for rural communities, and reflections from community and academic team members.
