Do you share the vision of a healthy, thriving North Carolina for all? WCC awards teams of community-academic partners with 1 year of leadership development and $45K in funding for initiatives in Edgecombe or Robeson County.

Program Goals

• Strengthen and support leaders to improve health in rural NC
• Expand collaborations and develop collective action for system change for health equity
• Achieve sustainability of efforts focused on priorities identified by and at the community level

WCC is for teams of 4 collaborators working in Edgecombe or Robeson County

Teams apply as 2 community members from Edgecombe or Robeson County with 2 UNC-CH academic partners. All 4 team members participate in 4 learning retreats during the program year.

Apply by 9/25! Program starts in January 2024.
